One week of summer vacation is under my belt. How's my bucket list coming?
1. Year-at-a-glance: started, but more work needed.
2. Differentiated math: nothing yet.
3. Clip chart: nope.
4. Weekend getaway: planning underway.
5. Games with sister: no planning yet, but coming up in July.
6. Read novels: finished Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury (loved it).
7. Baseball and basketball games: went Tuesday, yesterday and going tonight (as soon as I get off of here, he is bugging me to finish up and get going).
Does not look very impressive, but hey, it's summer! There is always next week. And I've been adding to my list: 8. make a wallhanging that says "Mrs. Bartel's School Family" to hang up outside my classroom. I have wonderful fabric that I want to use; 9. Create the first week of school lesson plans; 10. make social story books for students to take home with them when they come to meet the teacher before school starts.
Better stop there. I do want to have time to watch tv and dvds.
I loved Unlocked as well. Karen Kingsbury is an amazing author :)
